Casper Balslev is an award-winning director and photographer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He worked with Marina Diamandis during the Electra Heart era on The Archetypes project. It resulted in a series of music videos and several photoshoots that portray archetypal American women, inspired by Cindy Sherman's Untitled Film Stills, Sylvia Plath and Greek tragedies. His photo was used for the Electra Heart album cover.
