- Along with Horror Pop and Plastic Rainbow, Daddy Was a Sailor is one of three Mermaid vs. Sailor tracks not to knowingly get reworked for The Family Jewels.
- During a 2011 webcam chat, Marina stated it was her favourite song produced using her Argos keyboard.[1]
