Eternity is an unreleased song by Marina Diamandis, intended for her second studio album, Electra Heart.
It was written by Marina. However, any co-writers are unknown. The track was produced by Stargate.
Background[]
On November 19, 2020, a remix of Eternity leaked along with Bump in the Night and the original Radioactive demo, and was said to have been produced by Stargate,[2] A month later, the original version leaked.[3] Although DBREE is an unreliable source, as filenames can be edited, this is likely true due to context.
The original file of Bump in the Night gives an export date of June 10, 2011.[4] A day later, on the 11th, Marina tweeted:[5]

During a podcast, Marina explained she worked with Stargate for three days. Every day, she was played a backing track to pick, write over, and later edit with them.[6]
The original WAV file of Eternity gives an export date of September 21, 2011,[7] while the remix was bounced a day after, on the 22nd,[8] meaning the song was finalised in September 2011.
The existence of two versions, one being a remix, could indicate Eternity was intended to be released as a single, and was possibly scrapped in favour of Primadonna and/or Valley of the Dolls. The song shares lyrical connections to both tracks, which were written late in Electra Heart sessions.
