Homewrecker is a song by Marina Diamandis, released under her previous stage name 'Marina and the Diamonds'. Appearing on her second studio album, Electra Heart, it is the 4th track on the album and was released as a free download on Diamandis's official website upon signing up to her mailing list.[1]
The song was written by Marina and Rick Nowels, who produced the track.

Meaning[]
Marina called "Homewrecker" a response to the previous track, Lies, in that Lies is about playing the victim, whereas Homewrecker is about playing "the slayer instead of the slain." She goes on to state that Homewrecker fits in a trio along with Bubblegum Bitch and Primadonna as songs that are about being such an aggressor.[3]
