In June 2017, the song was registered.[2] Jesse Saint John tweeted "Studio Love",[3] and posted "throwback" pictures from their April session,[4] suggesting that Worth It was written in the same session as There's Nothing Wrong With You.

Two Versions[]
Worth It was registered before You and Disconnect in June 2017,[6] this version was registered with Jesse Saint John as a co-writer. On ASCAP/BMI this version was registered once,[7] with an ISCW number.[8] and was registered once on registry site GEMA under the registration status "2"[9] which indicates a work not yet distributable.
If Its Worth It was registered in November 2017,[10] this version was registered WITHOUT Jesse Saint John as a co-writer. On ASCAP/BMI this version was registered once,[11] with a different ISCW number.[12] and was registered once on registry site GEMA under the registration status "1"[13] which indicates a work that is distributable.
Song registry is for songwriters, giving them ownership and copyright of the song's lyrics. The differing ISCW numbers, suggest a complete removal of Jesse's lyrical involvement of the song. As on GEMA "Worth It" was registered under "2", this could mean the song was never actually recorded.[speculated] There's Nothing Wrong With You, presumed from the same session, was recorded and leaked but not even a snippet of "Worth It" has ever surfaced.
