Background

In July 2010, Gabriel revealed the song was written in the same session as Rootless, and was intended be a bonus track on the album.

Registration

The song was first registered sometime prior to January 2011. On ASCAP/BMI it was registered once, and additionally 7 times on registry site GEMA, every time crediting Howe and Gabriel as the only co-writers. Each version is under the registration status "2" which indicates a work not yet distributable. The first is under the frame type "original" and the rest under the frame type "remodelling", with slightly different publishers. It has no ISCW number.

• Because the song leaked in 2011, it was often falsely believed to be an Electra Heart outtake.
