The Inbetweenie Tour (unofficially named by Marina) was the fifth concert tour by Marina Diamandis. The tour was announced on February 14, 2020, as a tour between albums (LOVE + FEAR and Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land).[1] The tour was later cancelled due to COVID-19 precautions on March 16, 2020.[2]
Background[]
Not much is known about this tour as it has been cancelled. Marina wanted this tour to act as a bridge between the LOVE + FEAR era and her 5th Studio Album. The tour was most likely not fully planned out before cancellation as suggested by the announcement post on Twitter:[3]
❝ Now on sale! Unofficially calling this ‘the inbetweenie tour’ cause I’m in between albums and I never usually tour in this period... So, anything could happen. I could wear sweatpants onstage. I could do a TED talk on fandoms. I could play a new song. I could just sing Britney Spears covers all night? ❞
